Call for photographers: Photographers are being invited to participate in the Northwest Cultural Council's 2009 fifth annual international juried photography exhibition, "Pop Shots - Images Celebrating Dads." All forms of photography and digital imagery will be accepted. There is a $25 jury fee for up to three slides. High school and college students are free. Deadline for submission is Monday, April 27. Palatine Children's Chorus spring auditions: The chorus will hold spring auditions on Wednesday afternoon, May 6. The chorus welcomes all Northwest suburban children, who will be at least 8 years old on Aug. 31.
