West Aurora 80, West Chicago 35: The Blackhawks kept their hopes for a share of the DuPage Valley Conference title alive with a convincing road victory. Jontrel Walker netted a game-high 20 points for West Aurora (20-5, 11-2) while Josh McAuley added 16.

The Blackhawks trail Glenbard East (17-6, 12-1) by one game heading into Wednesday’s showdown with the Rams in Aurora. Glenbard East won the first meeting 58-56 Jan. 18 in Lombard.

Bloomington Central Catholic 59, Marmion 57: The Cadets controlled play for three quarters, but Bloomington Central roared back with a 20-6 fourth quarter outburst to secure the nonconference victory.

Mike Sheehan and Alex Theisen contributed 14 points apiece to lead Marmion (10-17) while Jake Esp finished with 10. The Cadets led 32-24 at the half and 51-39 after three quarters.

Kaneland 76, Dixon 62: Cole Carlson tallied 17 points and Matt Limbrunner added 15 as the visiting Knights (14-11) took the Northern Illinois Big XII crossover contest and snapped a five-game losing streak.
