Brittney Thibeaux scored a career-high 28 points, and Grayslake North’s girls basketball team defeated host Woodstock 71-52 Saturday night for its school-record-tying 21st win.

Joanna Guhl and Jordyn Bowen added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Knights, who improved to 21-2 and 9-0 in the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division. The winners also received 9 points from Emily Dugan and 8 from Kendall Detweiler in stretching their winning streak to six games.

Grayslake Central 34, Crystal Lake Central 22: Morgan Dahlstrom poured in 12 points for the visiting Rams, who hiked their record to 15-9 and 8-1 in the Fox Valley Fox Division.

Lake Zurich 71, Brooks 41: Sara Gazdacka scored 29 points for the host Bears in their own tournament game, and Sarah Stefaniu added 11.

Lake Zurich then lost to Providence 45-39.
