As an added incentive to come out to the track for today's curtain-closer, Arlington is distributing mystery vouchers to the first 2,500 fans through the gates. The mystery vouchers will range in value from $2 to $500.

With Saturday's fourth race win aboard the 10-1 longshot Exploited Storm for trainer Ron Goodridge, jockey Randy Meier is now just one win away from 4,000 for his career. He's named to ride eight horses today, including several live ones. The Pick Six carryover pool entering today's curtain closer is $7,881.03.

There is a mandatory payoff on both Pick Fours and the Pick Six. Congratulations go out to meet champions Rene Douglas, who took down his fifth Arlington jockey crown (2001-04, 2007); Wayne Catalano, who established a new record for wins in capturing his sixth trainer's title (2000, 2002-03, 2005-07); and owner Frank Calabrese, who also established a new standard in winning his eighth consecutive title. Following today's card there will be four dark days in advance of Friday's Hawthorne opener. Post time daily at Hawthorne will be 1:35 p.m.

Best bet: Officer Frank (2nd)

Price play: Cuban Missile (7th)
