A registered sex offender was arrested this week on allegations he exposed himself to two children under the age of 13, Buffalo Grove Police said today.

Gregory Gentles, 27, of the 200 block of Bernard Drive, was standing in front of his glass storm door pleasuring himself while the two victims were walking home from school about 11:10 a.m. Monday, police said in a news release.

The 11- and 12-year-old victims saw Gentles, ran home, and called police, according to the release. The victims later identified Gentles to juvenile detectives and a Cook County assistant state's attorney, police said.

Gentles was picked up later that afternoon and charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child, police said.

Gentles was in custody today at the Cook County jail in lieu of a $150,000 bond. He is expected back in court June 30.

Gentles is a registered sex offender, police said, who previously had been found guilty of public indecency.
