With Friday's fifth race longshot win aboard Road to Kentucky for trainer Elmer Miller, jockey Randy Meier moved within 2 victories of 4,000, and the veteran pilot has good chance to reach the milestone during Arlington's closing weekend. He named to ride in six of the 11 races today, and one of his mounts, Plenilunio in race 5 for trainer Roy Houghton, is a 7-2 morning-line favorite. Meier is scheduled to pilot eight horses on Sunday's curtain closing card, and he rides super live horses for Mike Reavis (Officer Frank, 2-1 in race 2 and 9-2 shot Easy Tee in race 10) and leading trainer Wayne Catalano (Sister Odell, 5-2 favorite in race 3).

Best bet: Flying Felix (2nd)

Price play: Ungi Blanc (9th)
