DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The Dubuque Drug Task Force says its agents, helped by state and local law enforcement personnel, have arrested two men who were allegedly transporting 21 pounds of marijuana in their vehicle.
The arrests occurred Tuesday in Dubuque.
Authorities say the driver of the vehicle, 30-year-old Kenneth Hoppman of Rockford, Ill., is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The passenger, 30-year-old Chad Kammerude of Dubuque, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, parole violation, and possession with intent to deliver.
Hoppman and Kammerude were being held Tuesday night at the Dubuque County Jail, where a shift officer said he did not know if they had attorneys.
