A pair of Palatine chiropractors are offering an opportunity to patients during February where they can choose what they want to pay, with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital. Between Feb. 1-28, Dr. Curtis Fischer and Dr. Brian Glaus will give patients a free initial consultation, examination and two X-rays (if needed) - services which have a value of up to $250. In exchange, patients will make a donation to help raise money for Children's Memorial Hospital.

"This is a great benefit to our community during these tough economic times, not to mention people losing their insurance benefits due to layoffs," said Dr. Fischer, a chiropractor at Northwest Spine and Healthcare. "It is a triple win in that the patient gets a chance to get examined, the hospital will receive much needed funds, and our office gets connected with patients in the community who are caring as well as really need our care."

The funds will be given to the Children's Memorial Hospital at the beginning of March. The total in donations will be posted in Northwest Spine and Healthcare, Dr. Fischer's and Dr. Glaus' office.
