White Sox set schedule for 2010 spring training

The Chicago White Sox will open their 2010 spring training play March 5 against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Camelback Ranch, the facility the two clubs share in Glendale, Ariz.

The White Sox are scheduled to play 34 games during spring training including five games against the Chicago Cubs.

The Sox also will play an exhibition game in Charlotte, N.C. vs. the Class AAA Knights on April 1, and will close the spring training schedule with a two-game set vs. the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field on Friday, April 2, and Saturday, April 3.

The White Sox open the 2010 regular season against the Cleveland Indians on April 5 at U.S. Cellular Field.

A spring training broadcast schedule will be announced in the coming weeks and tickets to individual spring training games at Camelback Ranch will go on sale in early 2010.
