Seniors, beware. Do you know how your Congressman Peter Roskam voted on issues that affect retirees?

He voted "no" on the Medicare Prescription Drug Price Negotiation Act, which would require negotiation with drug companies for Medicare Part D drug charges. He voted "no" on HV443, which would prevent a 10.6 percent cut in physician fees under Medicare causing more doctors to drop Medicare patients. Roskam voted "no" again on HV582, a Resolution to Postpone Action on legislation that would result in billions of dollars in Medicare cuts. On HR3043, which would have increased funding for research on Alzheimers, Parkinson and cancer diseases for the Social Security Administration, he again voted "no."

Roskam has a consistent record of voting "no" on legislation beneficial to seniors. It is no wonder he received a zero rating from the Alliance for Retired Americans and the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare.
