Kane County

Eric S. DeNeui, 18, of 135 Rolling Knolls Ave., Elgin, was arrested at 2:01 a.m. Tuesday and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), two counts of drug paraphernalia possession and failure to signal when required at Route 25 and Congdon Avenue, Elgin Township, police said.

Anna A. Philippova, 17, of 826 Fargo Blvd. Unit 2, Geneva, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Wednesday and charged with improper lane use and two counts of drunken driving after a crash at Hughes Road and Herrington Drive, Blackberry Township, police said. Philippova was treated at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva. No other injuries were reported.

Construction equipment valued at $16,000 was reported stolen Tuesday from 46W235 Beith Road, Virgil Township.

St. Charles

Rosario A. Munoz, 32, of 604 E. Grand Lake Blvd., West Chicago, was arrested at 7:16 p.m. Sunday and charged with reckless driving, two counts of endangering the life of a child, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving without a valid license after ramming another vehicle her husband was riding in on the 3800 block of East Main Street, police said. According to a report, there were two children and a relative riding with Munoz. The relative was treated by paramedics at the scene after falling out of Munoz's vehicle.

A dark blue Roadmaster bicycle valued at $60 was reported stolen Saturday from a patio on the 2000 block of Oak Street. The 18-speed boys' bicycle is 26 inches in size.

A mailbox valued at $100 was reported damaged Saturday on the 1000 block of Millington Way.


An abandoned vehicle was stuck in a wooded area in the Fox Valley Business Park, in the 200 block of Oswalt Drive, it was reported Wednesday.

Someone tried to force open a sliding screen door to a home in the 300 block of Mill Street, it was reported Wednesday.

The front left window of a vehicle was shattered between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Mill Street.

The guard office and the concession building at Harold Hall Quarry Beach, 400 S. Water St., were burglarized, it was reported Tuesday. Twenty dollars was taken out of a register, and $400 worth of concession items were taken.
