Kane County

Chelsea D. Kraft, 17, of 751 Mather Lane, Batavia, and a juvenile companion were each cited at 1:19 p.m. Thursday for criminal trespass at Mooseheart, 3S300 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia Township, police said.

Daniel J. Simmons, 28, of 34W954 James Drive, St. Charles Township, was arrested at 4:48 p.m. June 28 and charged with marijuana possession at his residence, police said.

A Cobra radar detector valued at $100 and $30 cash were reported stolen Saturday from a vehicle at 38W646 Greenview Court, St. Charles Township.

A silver Garmin GPS valued at $315 and several children's DVDs valued at $100 were among items reported stolen Thursday from a vehicle at 39W890 Carney Lane, Geneva Township.

A prepaid, gray Virgin Mobile cell phone valued at $30 was reported stolen Friday from a vehicle at 6N512 Illinois Ave., St. Charles Township.

A silver Canon digital camera valued at $350 was reported stolen Thursday from a vehicle at 6N512 Illinois Ave., St. Charles Township.

A black HTC cell phone valued at $499 was reported stolen Friday from a vehicle at 2S151 Chillem Drive, Batavia Township. Scratches sustained in the burglary caused $1,000 in damage to the vehicle.

St. Charles

Todd O. Huskey, 18, of 9783 Riverview Drive, St. Louis, Mo., was arrested at 11:03 p.m. June 27 and charged with possession of a controlled substance (Ecstasy) at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, police said. Also arrested was Matthew C. Sifrit, 22, of 713 E. Meadow Lane, Kirksville, Mo., on a charge of marijuana possession, police said.

Gary W. Downing, 50, of 380 Brittany Court Unit B, Geneva, was arrested at 10 p.m. June 28 and charged with obstructing police after "lunging" at an officer on the first block of North Third Street, police said.

Georgina Rubio, 36, of 901 Lorlyn Drive, West Chicago, was cited for retail theft at 5:30 p.m. June 27 after stealing two pairs of earrings valued at $22 total from Kohl's, 3840 E. Main St., police said.

Jennifer M. Carlino, 22, of 2756 Briargate Court, West Chicago, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. June 27 and charged with felony retail theft after stealing $526 in merchandise from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., police said.

Harley W. Forbes, 19, of 7176 Apricot Lane, Carbondale, was cited for marijuana possession at 1:05 a.m. June 29 at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, police said.

Brandon J. Lare, 22, of 4819 Amberwood Drive, Dayton, Ohio, was arrested at 1:39 a.m. June 29 and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine, Ecstasy, LSD), marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, police said.

Ieshia E. Richardson, 25, of 600 W. Forest Ave., West Chicago, and Ilisa D. Bland, 25, of 650 W. Forest Ave., West Chicago, were arrested at noon June 30 and each charged with retail theft after stealing $341 in merchandise from Target, 3885 E. Main St., police said.

Two DeWalt cordless drills and other electronics, valued at $2,300 total, were reported stolen June 27 from a vehicle on the first block of South Fourth Avenue.

A Carrier central air heating and cooling unit valued at $2,000 was reported stolen June 23 on the 2000 block of East Main Street.

A black Motorola cell phone valued at $50 was reported stolen June 25 from a vehicle on the 1400 block of Madison Avenue.

Several tools, a cell phone and a GPS were among items valued at $710 that were reported stolen June 27 from a vehicle on the first block of South Fourth Avenue.

A wallet containing $90, two Visa gift cards and several forms of personal identification was reported stolen June 26 from a locker at X-Sport Fitness, 238 N. Randall Road.
