Batavia

• A mailbox on the 1200 block of Danforth Drive was vandalized between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, according to a police report. Damage was estimated at $50.

• A PlayStation 2 and controllers valued at $205 were stolen from the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St., between May 9 and 28, according to a police report.

Kane County

• Two televisions, a grass trimmer, a wet/dry vacuum, jewelry and a five-gallon can of gasoline were among the items reported stolen May 17 from 36W191 Crane Road, St. Charles Township, according to a police report.

• Telephone harassment was reported May 22 by a resident at 12N121 Coombs Road, Plato Township.

St. Charles

• Matthieu E. Binet, 17, of 341 Brownstone Drive, was arrested at his residence May 22 and charged with marijuana possession, marijuana delivery and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Binet posted $2,000 bond and was released with a June 9 court date.

• Michael B. Bradley, 20, of 11N344 Russell Road, Elgin, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Saturday and charged with possession of a controlled substance at a park on the 4000 block of Campton Hills Road, police said. According to an arrest report, Bradley illegally possessed the amphetamine-based prescription medication Adderall XR.

• John C. Dieckmann, 19, of 29W041 Blair St., West Chicago, was cited for underage drinking at 4:50 p.m. Saturday at a park on the 4000 block of Campton Hills Road, police said.

• Joseph D. Fanucci, 25, of 635 W. Fabyan Parkway, Geneva, was cited for retail theft at 9:23 p.m. May 22 after stealing a $5.99 pack of cold medicine from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road, police said.

• Kyle P. Fogarty, 20, of 41W089 Bridle Creek Drive, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. May 18 and charged with marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession on the 300 block of Illinois Avenue, police said.

• David M. Gurtler, 19, of 914 W. Main St., was arrested at 5:54 p.m. Friday and charged with felony obstructing justice, resisting arrest, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to wear a seat belt, driving while license suspended and marijuana possession, police said. According to an arrest report, Gurtler gave police a false name during a traffic stop on the 1300 block of Indiana Street, then fled on foot when an officer confronted him about it. He was taken into custody a short time later on the 1300 block of West Main Street, where he was found riding in a different vehicle and wearing different clothes, police said.

• Jason J. Patel, 21, of 3009 Glen Eagles Court, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. May 22 and charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after crashing into a retaining wall on the 800 block of Fox Glen Drive, police said. Patel was treated for injuries at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva and released, according to an arrest report. He later posted $100 bond and was released with a notice to appear in court June 18.

• Two bicycles valued at $200 were reported stolen Sunday from an apartment building at 201 N. Tyler Road.
