Cantigny will present the following programs at 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton.

Admission for most programs is free, however there is a parking fee. The fee is $7 Tuesdays through Fridays, $8 on Saturday and Sunday. A twilight fee after 4 p.m. is $4 Tuesday through Friday and $5 for Saturday and Sunday. The annual parking pass for one year is $55 with an additional one for $7.

A tram service is available during regular hours from 9 a.m. to sunset leaving from the visitors center kiosk.

Reservations are required for most programs.

Anniversary: Cantigny Park will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Cantigny from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 28.

Concerts: Cantigny Park will present free concerts at 3 p.m. Sundays as well as special concerts at other times, rain or shine. Seating is on the lawn, so guests should bring a blanket or lawn chair. The parking fee applies.

June 29 -- Grand Avenue Big Band

Garden tips: Liz Omura will offer a free casual forum in the Idea Garden on the first and third Wednesday of the month through September. The session will begin at noon and a theme will be the focus each meeting with handouts, tastings and guest speakers. Guests may bring a brown bag lunch. Parking fee applies.

Date with History: The 2nd Battle of Marne is the topic at 7:30 p.m. June 4 in the First Divison Museum. Michael Neiberg is the speaker discussing his recently released book.

Stroller tour: A stroller tour for small children and their adult companions is offered at 9:30 a.m. June 6 beginning at the Visitors Center. The informal tour will be held the first Friday of every month through August. Those attending may bring drinks and snacks and wear comfortable shoes. The parking fee applies.

Vintage baseball: An 1858 rules vintage baseball game is from 2 to 4 p.m. June 7 at the parade field. Guests should bring seating to see what inspired the modern White sox and Cubs. The parking fee applies.

ABCs of Nature: I Spy a Yellow Flower is the topic at 10 a.m. June 13 as well as looking at caterpillars for ages 2 to 5. • Just Fluttering By for ages 2 to 5 meets at 10 a.m. June 27 to explore caterpillars and butterflies ready to be released.

Flag Day: Celebrate the Army's birthday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 14. The parking fee applies.

Fine Arts Festival: The fine arts festival featuring more than 175 world-class artists with works for sale is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 14-15. The event includes an Art & Kids in the Garden pastel class at 1 p.m. June 14. Students ages 8-14 can create art with artist Catie Barron to take home. The fee is $20 with registration required.

Rose garden: A grand opening of the rose garden and prairie is planned at 1 p.m. June 15 at the park. The free program features tours, music, refreshments and demonstrations. The parking fee applies.

Teddy bear tea party: A tea party and tour of the Robert R. McCormick Museum is offered for ages 5-8 from 2 to 4 p.m. June 18 at the museum, Jefferson porch. Guests should dress for tea and bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal. The event includes an etiquette lesson and treats and time to paint tea cups. Reservations are $10. Storytimes: Local librarians will offer outdoor discoveries during storytimes. The Warrenville Public Library will hold storytimes at 10:30 a.m. June 19 and 20 at the visitors center. For details and reservations, at (630) 393-7098, ext. 112 or (630) 653-7599.

The West Chicago Public Library will hold a storytime at 11 a.m. June 26. For details or reservations, call (630) 231-1552, ext. 3.

Gone Buggy: Children ages 5-10 will learn about insects and create three creepy crawly crafts from 10 a.m. to noon June 24 at the red bandshell.. The fee is $5 and registration is required by calling (630) 260-8162.

Twilight walk: A Twilight Tour of the formal gardens is offered at 6:30 p.m. June 25. The tour includes refreshments including wine. The fee is $25. Reservations are suggested by calling (630) 260-8162.
