Batavia

• A vehicle parked on the 1800 block of Suncast Lane was damaged between 4 and 5 p.m. Monday. Damage was estimated at $200.

Geneva

• Two men were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis (fewer than 30 grams) at 1:48 p.m. Monday at Wheeler Park, 822 N. First St. Justin E. Wheeler, 20, of 394 Copper Springs Lane, Elgin, and Tyler R. Hartje, 20, of 1433 S. Second St., St. Charles, were both given June 3 court dates. Police say Wheeler had a metal drug pipe and 6.8 grams of marijuana, and Hartje a glass pipe and less than one gram of marijuana.

• Someone stole a purse containing $60, a driver's license and a debit card out of a Chevrolet Malibu while it was parked in a lot on the 1500 block of South Randall Road between 11:45 a.m. and 12:08 p.m. Monday. A passenger window was smashed to gain access.

• Two round-neck pullover sweaters -- one dark gray, one silver-gray -- priced at $595 each were stolen between 11 a.m. and noon Saturday from the Sandra Webster store at 209 W. State St.

• Rey Soledad-Galvin, 27, of 135 Walnut Drive Apt. 206C, St. Charles, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid license after he hit a tree and a lamppost on the 1000 block of West State Street at 9:42 p.m. April 17, police said.

St. Charles

• Daniel Rubio, 26, of 1220 Kings Circle Unit 205, West Chicago, was arrested and charged with 10 felony and misdemeanor offenses April 4 during a traffic stop at DuPage Airport, 2700 International Drive, police said in a report made public Wednesday. Rubio faces two counts of aggravated drunken driving, one count of obstructing justice and one count of unlawful possession of a fraudulent identification card -- all felonies. He also was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor counts of driving while license revoked, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and operation of an uninsured vehicle. According to police, Rubio was pulled over after he was seen driving 15 mph below the speed limit and weaving in and out of traffic lanes. During a traffic stop at 11:22 p.m., he allegedly gave police incorrect information about his name and date of birth as well as provided a fake ID card in which he was erroneously identified as a woman. Police said they found an open bottle of beer in the vehicle. Rubio also was wanted on an outstanding DUI warrant from the DuPage County sheriff's office, according to police.

• Graffiti discovered April 16 caused $100 in damage to a building on the 100 block of South 17th Street.

• Seventeen maroon-colored signs valued at $1,700 were reported stolen April 7 from St. Charles North High School, 255 Red Gate Road. The signs identified bathrooms and classrooms.
