Leslie Boudreau's story sounds like something right out of "The Sopranos."

She's getting strong-armed by the Illinois Tollway mafia.

First they lure you in with the promise that the don has an open road toll program that will make life so easy.

But if you fall behind in your payments, there is no recourse, only extortion.

If that doesn't work, there will be threats to break your financial and emotional knee-caps.

It might even be scary enough to make you want to change your name and go into a driver's version of the witness protection program.

With all the time, money and manpower it takes the Illinois Tollway Authority to do the job, maybe it's time to just "make the tollway go away."
